The mediaeval Castell de Peralada is the setting for the Castell de Peralada Festival during the months of July and August.

Overview

In a desire to highlight the poetry and musical composition in our country, the Festival Castell de Peralada has programmed a round table to open up a debate on contemporary composition in our country and on how contemporary poets can contribute to the renewal of song in the twenty-first century.

As a foretaste of the recital featuring tenor David Alegret with Rubén Fernández Aguirre, based on the work of Josep Carner, which includes world premières of songs by these Catalan composers, we are opening the doors to reflection on a musical future that pays much more attention to our cultural wealth.
