Verona-born SIMONE PIAZZOLA started his musical education at the age of eleven.
Several prizes won in competitions paved his way for an international career that soon took him to the following stages: Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro Nuovo in Spoleto, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Verona, Florence, Venice, Palermo, Modena, Naples, Athens, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Hong Kong, Macerata Opera Festival, Valencia, São Paulo. Most recently, he sang Giorgio Germont, Duca di Nottingham, Don Carlos (Forza del destino), Ankarström at Bayerische Staatsoper, Enrico and Alphonse XI. at Teatro Real in Madrid, Enrico, Giorgio Germont and Marcello at Semperoper, Ankarström at Opéra national de Paris, Marcello at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Luna at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Luna and Giorgio Germont at Arena di Verona. Planned appearances include Don Carlo (Ernani) and Ezio (Attila) at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Giorgio Germont at ROH Covent Garden in London, in Palermo and in Hamburg, Ford (Falstaff) at Teatro Real in Madrid. At Vienna State Opera, he made his debut in 2016 singing the role of Amonasro.
