SAGA City of Light offers audiences a new "immersive walk-through show" experience and an all-round experience at the international frontier.
It is a race against time that immerses the visitors in a huge intrigue and thrilling journey with multiple authentic scenes of old Shanghai in an intensive performance. SAGA City of Light is created by the core creative team of Puy du Fou France and Chinese cultural and artistic creatives. The story takes guests back to the old times, bringing back the view, the people, the charm, and the tension to inspire their most authentic and strong emotions.
Based on the Shanghai-style culture, SAGA City of Light creates a large-scale entertainment complex where people can see a 100% restored old Shanghai scene. Within the total construction area of 46,000 square meters, 50 thematic scenes are set up, and 150 professional actors are resident. SAGA City of Light project introduced more than 300 specialized speakers imported from France to create authentic and unique sound effects. And produced 26,000 vintage props in more than 1,300+ different types of props to create real scenes. In a 12-meter-high ceiling, a 1:1 reproduction of an 88-meter-long boat and train is customized to realistically recreate scenes for the audience.
