He now sings regularly for major opera houses around the world, including Vienna State Opera, Berlin State Opera, Bavarian State Opera, Paris Opéra, La Monnaie, Brussels, San Francisco Opera, Los Angeles Opera and the Metropolitan Opera. His repertory also includes Don José (Carmen), Chevalier des Grieux (Manon), Werther, Vincent (Mireille), Roméo (Roméo et Juliette), Giasone (Medea), Admète (Alceste), Faust (FaustMefistofele and La Damnation de Faust), Gennaro (Lucrezia Borgia), Roberto (Roberto Devereux), Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore) and the title role in La clemenza di Tito. He created the role of Mario Ruoppolo (Catán’s Il postino) opposite Plácido Domingo in Los Angeles, and has since performed the role in Paris and Santiago de Chile.
