Overview

Country to Country; Europe's biggest country music festival is back for 2022, and will be returning to London’s The O2 on Friday 11 to Sunday 13 March 2022.

Headlining next year’s festival are country music superstars Luke Combs, Darius Rucker, and Miranda Lambert. Also making their return next year are multiple CMA award winners and nominees Kip Moore, Brett Young, and Ashley McBryde alongside Russell Dickerson, Scotty McCreery, Flatland Cavalry, and Hailey Whitters who all make their main stage debuts.

For the very first time, the international series Introducing Nashville will see artists take to the main stage together for an acoustic set sharing stories behind their tracks. Line up announced soon.

The C2C Spotlight Stage will also be back, featuring Tenille Townes and Callista Clark.  Watch out for news of the full lineup in the coming months. BBC Radio 2 is the broadcast partner for the event.

Chris York, C2C Festival Co-Founder commented: “C2C Festival 2022 will continue to build on the massive success and impact of Country to Country in the U.K. and Ireland. We look forward to welcoming back all our passionate country fans in March 2022 once again.  We would like to thank our partners at BBC Radio 2 and The Country Music Association and as ever thank you for your support.”

“C2C is a pillar in Country Music, not just to U.K. fans, but to the artist and industry community here in Nashville as well,” says Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “With the loss of the 2020 and 2021 shows, CMA is especially excited to be partnering with C2C again this year. As Country Music continues to grow through touring and streaming in the U.K., it is tentpole events like C2C that act as catalysts for the genre and help carry Country Music forward.”

The legendary Bob Harris OBE also said: “I am so proud to be part of the C2C family and have watched the festival grow to become one of the most important and iconic events in the global Country Music calendar.  I can’t wait to listen to the best music in the world, enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of the main auditorium, catch the excitement of the pop-up stages and meet the incredible Country fans that make C2C so special.”

Country to Country has become a staple in the UK festival calendar and has brought country music to the UK and Ireland masses, with tens of thousands of fans attending each year. The festival continuously hosts the best in country music and entertainment, bringing over the world’s best country stars as well as emerging talent from Nashville, UK, and Europe. In 2019, C2C welcomed over 70,000 fans, who enjoyed music from artists including Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Chris Stapleton, Brett Eldredge, Hunter Hayes, Lyle Lovett, Cam, Dustin Lynch, Ashley McBryde, Chase Rice, Carly Pearce, Drake White & The Big Fire and more; as well as programming from the Festival Stages, BBC Radio 2 Stage, CMA Screenings, The Bluebird Café, Aftershows, and C2C Sessions.

The O2 - London
Location   Peninsula Square

The O2 Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the centre of The O2 entertainment complex on the Greenwich Peninsula in southeast London. It opened in its present form in 2007. It has the second-highest seating capacity of any indoor venue in the United Kingdom, behind the Manchester Arena, and in 2008 was the world's busiest music arena.

The arena was built under the former Millennium Dome, a large dome-shaped building built to house an exhibition celebrating the turn of the third millennium; as the structure still stands over the arena, The Dome remains a name in common usage for the venue.

In August of 2007, the rock star Prince, began the first of 21 sellout nights at the O2 Arena.

On 21 July 2007, British rock band Keane played the arena as part of their Under the Iron Sea Tour.

From 2008, the O2 Arena has hosted Capital's Jingle Bell Ball which is an annual mini-festival held over two nights, usually in early December.

During 2008, the Canadian singer Celine Dion performed two sold out shows, also in 2017 during her Celine Dion Live 2017 she performed four sold out shows and she will return on April 22 and 23, 2021 for her Courage World Tour.

Since 2009, the arena has hosted the ATP World Tour Finals, the season-ending finale of men's professional tennis, featuring the top eight players in the world. The venue has hosted the event for the second longest tenure, behind only Madison Square Garden (1977–89).

Cirque Du Soleil hosted Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour on 12, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 19 October through 21 of 2012.

During the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, the venue was referred as the North Greenwich Arena due to Olympics regulations regarding corporate sponsorship of event sites.

Since March 2013, the arena has hosted C2C: Country to Country, Europe's largest country music festival, which annually attracts over 20,000 fans. UK and Irish acts, as well as up-and-coming American acts, perform sets several times across various pop-up stages in and around the arena, with the main stage accessible only to ticket-holders. The seventh C2C was held on 8–10 March 2019.

Since 2014, the Australia-based charismatic Christian church Hillsong has held the Hillsong Conference London at the arena.
