Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra Chorus
Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra Chorus, established in June 2007, current Artistic Director Lin Daye, with Luo Bin serving as the President and Luo Shenka as the permanent conductor and Vice President. The choir members are graduates of prestigious domestic and international music institutions, receiving rigorous vocal training and possessing extensive professional experience.
Since its inception, the chorus has participated in numerous significant performances both domestically and internationally. They have successfully performed new Chinese symphonic choral works, original compositions by Guangdong and Shenzhen songwriters, as well as classics such as Orff's Carmina Burana, the concert version of Verdi's Aida, and Mahler's Symphony No. 2 and Symphony No. 3. Their annual New Year concert has become a highly anticipated event for choral enthusiasts in Shenzhen.
Since 2020, the chorus has enhanced its professionalism and rejuvenated its membership to meet the demands of major performances by the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra. They have successfully performed in numerous concert season events and have been invited to perform in Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, Harbin, and Guiyang. The chorus has collaborated with conductors such as David Reiland, Zhang Guoyong, Lin Daye, Zhang Jiemin, and Tang Muhai. Piano: Li Wenwen
Li Wenwen is the Deputy Secretary and Associate Professor of the Composition and Conducting Department at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she also serves as a master’s tutor in piano collaborative arts. She holds a bachelor's degree in composition, studying under Professor Jia Daqun, and a master's degree in conducting under Professor Zhang Guoyong, both from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
As a member of the "Chinese Music Creation Practice and Research Strategy Team," Li actively participates in team activities, planning and promoting future conductors' special performances. Her students have achieved significant success: Dong Chao received the Special Commendation Award at the 2023 58th Besançon International Young Conductor Competition and third place at the 2024 Malko Conducting Competition in Denmark; Sun Yifan won the first prize at the 10th Bucharest International Conducting Competition in Romania; Jin Yukang was the runner-up at both the 2021 Khachaturian International Conducting Competition and the Only Stage International Conducting Competition, and received the Neeme Järvi Prize at the 2023 Gstaad Menuhin Festival.

Piano: Guan Jun
Guan Jun, artistic director and the head of the Opera Coach Research Office in the Composition and Conducting Department at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She graduated from the piano department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and pursued further studies in piano accompaniment in New York and piano solo at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, Italy, where she graduated with honors.
Since becoming the head of the Opera Coach Research Office, Guan's opera coaching courses have been selected as key courses at the conservatory. She introduced an opera conducting course, which has been listed as a key graduate course, and won first prize at the Fourth Young Teachers Teaching Competition at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She has organized and hosted numerous masterclasses and lectures, planning and producing special opera concerts, including Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Puccini’s La Bohème, among others.

Conductor: Luo Shenka
Luo Shenka is a young choral conducting teacher at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music's Conducting Teaching and Research Office, as well as the permanent conductor and vice president of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra Chorus. In 2007, he was admitted to the Conducting Department of the China Conservatory of Music, where he studied under Professors Sang Yeesong and Yang Youqing. In 2013, he pursued graduate studies in choral conducting under Professor Lorenzo Donati at the Conservatorio di Musica "F.A. Bonporti" in Trento, Italy.
Upon returning to China in 2016, Luo was appointed to the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, where he served as the rehearsal director for the Vocal Opera Center's productions of "The Magic Flute" and "L'elisir d'amore" before joining the Conducting Teaching and Research Office. In March 2017, he became the conductor and vice president of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra Chorus.
