The 24-music band, which has been ranked first on the ticketing website concert list 18 times and "resurrected" from the late Tang Dynasty stone carvings in the Yongling Museum, landed in Guangzhou for the first time with its new work "Song Meets Dongpo", taking the audience back to the Song Dynasty, approaching the emotional world of the great writer Su Dongpo, and appreciating the elegance of the Song Dynasty.
 
Unlike traditional concerts, in the performance of "Song Meets Dongpo", nine musicians will wear restored costumes from the Song Dynasty and present 16 instruments such as flute, Xiao, Xun, Erhu, Pipa, Guzheng, and Yangqin one by one in different Song Dynasty scenes. The composite art of "music + poetry + dance + drama" is presented in a more tender way to approach Su Dongpo's inner world.

Plot summary

The 24 Jiyue National Style Orchestra is a well-known national style orchestra in China. The orchestra was established based on the cultural relics of the Yongling Museum and is the only "alive" restoration orchestra in the country.
 
The orchestra is active online on self-media platforms such as Bilibili, Xiaohongshu, and Douyin. It is a well-known up master on Bilibili and has participated in the recording of major S+-level variety shows such as CCTV Network Spring Festival Gala, "Classics Chanting Spread", "Happy Camp", "Ride the Wind 2023", and "Ace vs. Ace".
