Overview

Kings of Convenience, the Norwegian indie-folk duo behind Quiet Is the New Loud, bring their gentle guitars and twin voices back to Beijing on their 2026 tour.

Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe come from Bergen and released their debut album Quiet Is the New Loud in 2001; MTV Nordic named the video for I’d Rather Dance with You the best music video of 2004.

On their first China tour, in 2024, they kept inviting audiences to clap, dance and snap their fingers along. Expect the same cosy, easy-going mood the Norwegians call “kos”: soft melodies, swaying rhythms and two contrasting voices with a chemistry all their own.
