Black Duck, one of the first vocal-harmony groups in Chinese pop, presents Good People, Good Dreams – a 2026 concert of the classic songs that made its name.

With nearly 50 albums behind it, the group sang Good People, Good Dreams with other artists at the 2003 CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Today’s trio – Ni Yafeng, Guo Qi and Li Wei – keeps the warm, close harmonies that are the group’s trademark.

Few concert halls have a setting like this: Zhongshan Park, next to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Inside, 1,419 seats on two levels face a stage 23 metres wide, with an American Austin pipe organ behind it. The hall grew from a 5,000-seat open-air theatre of 1942 and was renovated by April 1999.
