Ma Jiantao has written, composed, arranged and sung his own songs for more than twenty years, starting out as a bar singer. His 2024 single Support Each Other, a simple song about standing by the people you love, became a hit with listeners of all ages.
This Beijing show is presented by Beijing International Pop Music Week. Over four chapters of old favourites, online hits and signature songs, Ma shares the stories behind the music – and performs Forget-Love Beef Noodles in a brand-new band arrangement, as the band’s lead vocalist.

Built as an open-air stage and roofed in 1959, it hosts plays, opera, ballet, musicals and rock concerts.
