Overview

Richard Clayderman – the pianist the Guinness Book of World Records called “the most successful pianist in the world” – brings his Forever Love New Year piano concert to Beijing.

Ballade pour Adeline, the piece that made him famous, sold 22 million copies in 38 countries, and by 2006 his record sales had reached around 70 million, with 267 gold and 70 platinum albums. China holds a special place in his career: by 2020 it had become the country where he performs most, with nearly 500 concerts in almost 100 cities since his first tour there in 1992.

For this New Year concert he brings fresh arrangements that move between romantic and jazz styles, Chinese melodies set against striking stage effects, and the classics audiences know by heart – a glamorous, nostalgic way to welcome the new year.
