Beijing Wind Orchestra and Li Bowei welcome the New Year with an evening spanning Chinese festive music, ballet, opera and Broadway.

Li Huanzhi's Spring Festival Overture opens a journey through contrasting musical worlds. Tchaikovsky's ballet music meets Mozart-inspired music, while Johnnie Vinson's Cahaba Dances brings the colour of American wind-band writing. Verdi, Bernstein and Offenbach add the drama and energy of the stage.
