Chorégies d'Orange 2021
The Chorégies d'Orange lift the veil on the 2021 edition with La Scala in Milan as the highlight.
Since the success of its first edition in 2017, Pop the Opera has had several thousand middle and high school students sing together from all over the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region on the stage of the Théâtre Antique d'Orange; during the program Musiques en fête, live from the Chorégies d'Orange; on the Place du Palais des Papes in Avignon ...
In 2021, 150 young artists from Vaucluse will take over the stage of the Auditorium Jean Moulin to present Pop the Opera in a more intimate version, thus affirming the commitment of the Chorégies d'Orange in their educational project that they have carried out for many years with happiness. They will present a creative reinterpretation where great operatic choirs will marry the greatest hits of pop music and cinematographic music; accompanied on the piano and by various electro-acoustic instruments for a festive concert!
