The most acclaimed Brazilian musician, in an event evening with the refined music of her latest album.

"Portas" is characterized by a background rich in soulful voices that perfectly accompany the delicate nuances of Marisa's voice as she juggles the myriad of topics covered. The disc highlights Marisa's ability to easily combine different musical genres with a style and maturity that derive from the experience she acquired during her acclaimed career. Due to the pandemic, the “Portas” album was recorded, mixed, and mastered with remote recordings in Rio de Janeiro, Lisbon, Los Angeles, and New York. About this experience, Marisa says: “All the recording was done without too much difficulty and it is a type of work that we would never have tried to do if we could have simply got on a plane to meet with others. But due to the impossibility of doing it in person, we have come to do something that we will continue to do because working remotely really works ". Brazilian artist Marcela Cantuária oversaw the entire visual concept of the album, of which the cover is also part: "This project eventually became an audiovisual dialogue between two contemporary women who have lent their sensitivity to the service of art. I think she managed to represent both me and all my songs in these creations. I think she has strengthened all my traces and my expressive strength beyond imaginable ". “Portas” is an album produced by Marisa Monte with the collaboration, in some tracks, of Arto Lindsay and Marcelo Camelo and mastered by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone. The album was preceded by the single "Calma".
